My Dreams

I had a dream the other night, 

Most certainly not a nightmare,

Not even close, 

But in this dream,

I was with you, 

We climbed mountains, 

And sailed hectic oceans,

Hand in hand,

As we build our empire together,

My hand through your golden hair,

And fighting the dragons in their lair, 

And in this beautiful dream, 

I fell in love,

with you,

To save my heart from breaking more, 

Craving the things I wanted most, 

I tried to wake up,

Only to find out,

I was awake the entire time
